About the event
Event: "Media Literacy 101" Workshop
Objective:
The goal of this workshop is to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of media literacy, equipping them with the tools to analyze news and information critically. Participants will learn how to identify misinformation, understand biases, and develop a habit of consuming media responsibly.
Target Audience:
Middle and high school students (ages 12–18), especially those new to social media and digital news consumption.
Educators interested in incorporating media literacy into their teaching curriculum.
